Our expertise encompasses setting up state-of-the-art laboratories, supplying essential equipment, and developing customized protocols tailored to specific needs. We also offer comprehensive consultancy services, including both online and on-site support to ensure compliance with Department of Biotechnology (DBT) regulations and successful lab operations. Under the leadership of Dr. Lalitkumar Patil, who brings over 30 years of experience in tissue culture technology. In addition to our core services, we provide advanced research and development, protocol standardization, and lab optimization. For students pursuing M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees, we offer hands-on training and support for their projects, ensuring that their labs achieve peak efficiency and deliver high-quality results.

Dr. Lalitkumar Vamanrao Patil

Dr. Lalitkumar Vamanrao Patil, the founder and director of Alpha Tissue Culture Services, has an exceptional background in plant tissue culture with over three decades of experience. A graduate of Pune University with a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) and a Ph.D. from Nagpur University, Dr. Patil is an expert in the field. His contributions to the tissue culture industry have been significant, with his work spanning research, lab establishment, protocol standardization, and consultancy for both public and private institutions.
Dr. Patil has established 48 tissue culture labs across India and is currently working on six more. His research focuses on low-cost production technologies, post-harvest solutions, and innovative micropropagation protocols for crops like Banana, Pomegranate, Sugarcane, Potato, Strawberry, Blueberry, Apple, Grape, Pineapple, Safforon, Corymbia, Acacia, Poplur, Sandalwood, Neem, Nopalcactus, Fig, Lemon, Guava, Teak, Bamboo, and Eucalyptus. His work has advanced tissue culture technology and provided hands-on opportunities for students and professionals. A member of various biotech and agricultural organizations, Dr. Patil has mentored over 350 students in tissue culture projects.
